What I DID
-
Fish concept developer & creature artist
-
I was responsible for the fish concept design and modeling with texture included.
-
-
UI design:
-
As the principal UI artist, I was responsible for designing the UI style and generating the UI elements.
-
-
Fish concept designer & creature artist

At the starting stage, I was given the structure that the game will be based on a wacky yet dangerous art style so I started to explore different design language or style to see if I can find any inspirations.

I finalized on these creature choices which is wacky but also aggresive

But somehow it looks a little bit too aggresive which is different from the style that our game is pivoting to so I need to cut down a little bit pf its aggressiveness and came out with new designs

UI ARTIST
When I was appointed to this UI artist position, I was instructed to create a clear UI style. I had very little time because it was late in the production process. Finally, I completed the basic layout of each menu in around 6 hours and submitted it to the team for evaluation. Following that, I began working with the programmers to build assets in the right size and implement the assets, including the refining of the in-game UI and HUD.
